General English

All schools we represent offer General English. General English courses are offered on an Intensive (25-30 Hours per week), Full Time (20-25 Hrs per week) or Part Time (10-15 hrs per week) basis. Courses enable students the opportunity to focus on the fundamentals of the English language. Courses concentrate on speaking and listening, and giving you the confidence to live and work in an English world. Every school we work with will administer a test on your first day to ensure you are placed in the right class for your ability. Courses run from four weeks to a year and you can usually join a class any Monday.

Business English

Business English courses are designed to develop your business communication skills that are essential for success in today's business world. Business English is ideal for those wanting to enter or who are already working in an international business environment.

Academic English

Academic English courses are offered to help those wanting to enter university or college study. These courses help improve your English and study skills. Courses are structured so that all the essential elements of reading, speaking, writing and grammar are developed.

Exam Preparation

Cambridge

Cambridge First Certificate: This is the Cambridge examination at the intermediate level, requiring competence in all the language skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening. It is widely recognised in commerce and industry as proof of language ability at an intermediate level.

Cambridge Advance Certificate:
This is an examination at an advanced level and is suitable for people who require English for professional or study purposes. There is a great emphasis on real world tasks. Ideal for those at an advanced level.

Cambridge Proficiency:
This is the highest level of English language testing, recognised as fulfilling English language requirements for universities world wide.

IELTS: Tests the complete range of English Language skills which will commonly be encountered by those living and working in an English speaking environment. IELTS is accepted by all Australian tertiary institutions for entry purposes and the Australian Government for immigration purposes.

TOEFL: The test of English as a Second Language program provides English proficiency testing services for international students planning to study in Australia, Canada, or other countries where English is the language of instruction. The TOEFL test is made available worldwide to all persons, regardless of age, gender, race, nationality, or religion.
