Admission Requirements Admission requirements vary across the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Please contact Australian Consultancy Ltd for more details. The general minimum English requirements are IELTS 6.5 (no band score less than 6.0) or TOEFL(paper-based) 575 plus TWE 4.5 or TOEFL (computer-based) 233 plus essay writing 4.5. Students who do not initially meet the English language requirements of their chosen course can enrol in the EAP (English Academic Program) at the Centre for English Teaching. Upon satisfactory completion of this course, students will be able to begin with their university studies. Students not meeting the academic prerequisites of their chosen course can undertake the University Foundation program. Academic Year Semester 1: Late February- June Support Services and Facilities The University of Sydney offers counselling and support services for all its students. In particular the International Student Services Unit (ISSU) offers the following services for overseas students:

The University has 6 child care centres for the children of students and staff. The Learning Centre offers a Program for International Postgraduate Students and also works with faculties to provide discipline-based support programs for students. Tuition Fees Fees range from approx A$10,000 to A$30,000 per year, Scholarships and Grants The University offers International Merit Based Scholarships to International Students who have completed at least one year at the University.
